Bible Drill Recognition Day

For those of you who don't know what Bible Drills are..here is a brief overview. The youth and children compete against themselves to find different things in the bible. The youth have 6 seconds and the children have 10 seconds to find things. They start around Christmas and memorize scripture. They have to know certain verses and find them in their alloted time, memorize some scriptures, know key passages and where they are found and know all the books in order and find them when certain ones are called out. There are a total of 24 things and we are so very proud of our boys and what they accomplished. You start out at church drills, then association and then state and our boys have made it every year to state! We are proud of all the kids and just hope that what they learn they put to eternal memory and when they need encouragement from the Lord that they remember some of these verses! This is an awesome thing to do and be a part of! Way to go boys! We love you and are so proud of you!
These are the three adults. They all got superior...Chris, Jessica and Bro. Joedy
These are most of the kids...(L to R) Jimmy, Dana, Mick, Evie, Chase, Jacob. (second row) Keeifer, Danyelle, Josh and Cameron. (back row) Zack, Kipp, Jeromy and Hannah! Great job kids!

Zack with his medal..he also received a plaque for being in bible drills for 7 years

Cameron with his medal

Chase received a trophy for being in bible drills for 3 years. And he has his medal.
All three of my kids have been in Bible drills since the 3rd grade. If you go to state and do Bible drills for all 9 years, you are eligible for scholarships. 3rd grade doesn't count, but it's great practice!!
