Her first Happy Meal ice cream cone!

We knew that she liked ice cream...Well, we went to McD's Sunday and Russ got an ice cream cone. She kept looking at him and sticking out her tongue because she wanted a bite. He gave her one, being the nice Uncle Russ he is, but of course she wanted more! Well, then Anthony and Zack got ice cream and then she noticed that Aunt Heather got some too!! She wanted some of everybody's so...I remembered that she got a happy meal and can get a small cone for free, so I got her one...she was SOOO happy and ate almost all of it!! Getting too big too fast!!
First bite!
Uncle Russ was making her laugh. I am sure he was making silly faces at her!!
Hmmm what do I do now??
I figured it out!!
Look how much I enjoyed this ice cream!!!

Our beautiful little girl!

A couple at our church bought this outfit for her last year. It finally fits and oh my goodness how cute she was in it!
Walking across the church yard. Running away from me really!!
Just love this picture. In black and white it would be gorgeous!!
HOW BEAUTIFUL!!!
SHE SOOOOO CUTE!!!

A night out with my friend, Lana

Lana and I don't get to see eachother as much as we would like, but this Memorial Day weekend, we went to Nashville and visited them. On Friday night, the guys were soooo sweet and let us go out for a night by ourselves!! Man, we both needed that! We were able to go to the Visitation of Maria Chapman and see SCC and his family..It was a moment I am very glad that we got to witness! We also went to a movie and out to eat..some shopping, but not much!! It was fun!! Love ya Lana!!

May 21, 2008!

This day was a very special day for us. On this day, Olivia had been with us longer than she wasn't with us in her life. Although it may not sound all that important, it is VERY important to us! We can't believe that our little girl turned 1 1/2 and has been with us for 9 months and 1 day now. Time has flown by, but what a joy she is to us! We can't imagine our life without her now. I don't know what her brother's did before she came!! HAHA She is such a blessing and we thank our God everyday for her! Oh and Happy Birthday to my Memaw Helen who is in heaven now, but this day was her birthday!!
Beautiful smile!
I LOVE this!!
Silly face!
HMMM!! I wonder what she was thinking??HAHA
okay, enough pictures mom!! No really I wouldn't let her get into the cereal in the pantry!! She doesn't like it when she can't get her way or eat!!!

Just as a side note, although this day was VERY special for us, it was also a sad day in the life of The Steven Curtis Chapman family. This day, Maria Sue, age 5 also adopted from China, went home to be with Jesus. I just want to say this touched my heart more than I knew it would and that the Chapman family will be in my prayers for a long time. Although we know she's dancing with Jesus and sitting in his lap, it's still painful for those whom she left behind and because of their hurt, I hurt and will pray for them continually! SCC is a very spiritual man who has written many songs and touched many people's lives . The main reason this family is so important to me is that because, first of all the calling of the Lord and his soverign plan for us to adopt from the beginning of time, but what SCC said in the adoption meeting we went to. He said things that touched Anthony's heart and their video from getting Stevey Joy that ultimately made Anthony said, "Yes" to this adoption! See, he is a vital reason we have our Olivia and there's nothing I could do to thank him for that! So..Maria Sue, we will see you soon! You are already tremendously missed and you will never know the impact your little 5 years have had on this world already!!

Hot tub time!!

My dad and Olivia in the hot tub. She wasn't too fond of the pool, but LOVED the hot tub. I guess because she likes her baths so warm, this was more like a bath!!
Beautiful face!
See, she was having a blast in the hot tub. Meme thought she was funny laying back and relaxing like nothing was more important!
Sweet laugh!
No, she's not sleeping, but I am glad I got this shot. She was just sooo relaxed!! I love this picture!

A day with the president!

HAHA! You thought I meant Bush didn't you??? Well, it's not him, but a very important person nonetheless. This is the president of The Southern Baptist Seminary where Anthony received his Masters (MDIV) on May 16, 2008! It has taken 4 years and alot of effort on Anthony's part as well as us as a family and the church! The church has been wonderful and paid for his entire education and without them, he might not have his degree! God has blessed us so much with a wonderful church family who loves us very much! Thank you God! Also, we are so proud of you Anthony! He was a full-time pastor, husband, daddy and student and still came out with a 3.79...awesome! Thank you God for giving Anthony such ability to learn!!
